AURA IQ CHALLENGE

Lenovo USA — via CARGO Agency · Production by Boli.Media

Corporate training wasn't an option. A game show was. Boli.Media designed Lena Nova from scratch — an original AI host character — and built a full campaign suite that makes a sales quiz feel like prime time.

Selling AI
features is easy.
Making people
care is the work.

Commissioned project. Produced for Lenovo USA via CARGO Agency. Portfolio use approved by Rick Bryson, CARGO USA. Published one month after campaign launch.

Lenovo's Aura AI technology powers an entire ecosystem of intelligent features inside their ThinkPad laptops. The challenge: get the sales team genuinely excited about understanding and communicating those features — not just aware of them.

The original brief: a 30–40 second intro video for a gamified internal training platform. The format answer came immediately — not a product demo, not a corporate explainer. A game show. Stakes, energy, and a host that belongs in prime time.

"The project didn't end at delivery. The client came back — twice. That's the only metric that matters."

What started as a 30–40 second intro grew into a full campaign suite across three videos and a newsletter system. The client didn't just approve the work — they expanded it. Each phase built on the same character and visual language established in the first delivery.

Phase 01 — Original scope 30–40s intro video
Phase 02 — Expanded Hero video + 2 follow-ups
Phase 03 — Live in use Newsletter artwork deployed

A host
built from
nothing.

Lena Nova didn't exist before this project. She was designed entirely from scratch — visual profile, voice, presence, and personality — to embody Lenovo's AI vision: intelligent, precise, and distinctly human in the way she communicates.

The creative decision: give her authority, not warmth. A game show host commands the room. She doesn't ask for attention — she already has it. That energy had to carry across 1:55, two follow-up videos, and three newsletter campaigns.

01
Visual Profile
Sleek, tech-forward, composed. Built to feel like she belongs inside a Lenovo world — not sourced from a generic AI asset library.
02
Voice Design
Produced via ElevenLabs — tone calibrated for authority and clarity. Warm enough to engage. Precise enough to feel AI-native. Photorealistic lip sync applied in post.
03
Consistency at Scale
Same character across 3 videos and 3 newsletter campaigns. Visual and voice identity locked from Phase 01 — no drift, no re-briefing.

Seven tools.
One system.
No days
on set.

The entire production pipeline was remote and AI-integrated — from character design through final audio mix. Each tool served a defined function. Every iteration reviewed and approved by the Director before advancing.

~80,000 combined credits across Magnific and Higgsfield. That number represents hundreds of iterations, controlled decisions, and rejected outputs that never made it to the timeline. The result is what passed — not what was generated.

First client.
Fortune 500.
They came
back twice.

This is Boli.Media's first commissioned client project — and it went directly to a Fortune 500 brand through an agency relationship. Not a proof of concept. An actual deliverable, held to an actual standard, by an actual client.

The brief expanded twice. The character is now deployed across a live internal platform with thousands of Lenovo sales reps. The newsletter artwork is already in use. That's not client satisfaction — that's client trust.

"The output doesn't look like AI because it wasn't conceived with AI. That's the whole point."
